At the start of April it will be a full year since Pure Block Management was established as a stand-alone business, following the decision by our parent company Garness Group (formerly Garness Jones) to restructure the business to allow greater focus on each of the property markets it serves.
It’s been an incredibly busy – and rewarding – time for our team. Over the last 12 months we’ve:
- Moved offices, together with the other Garness Group businesses, to our new waterfront location on Nelson Street in Hull city centre
- Launched our new website
- Grown our team from five to seven, welcoming block manager Lizzie Gibson and accounts administrator Gemma Todd to the fold
- Introduced a new online portal for leaseholders and freeholders of the blocks and estates we manage, streamlining customer service and making it easy for them to manage their accounts
- Welcomed new clients, taking on the management of more blocks and developments across the region, from historic Samman House in Hull and Mentone House in Hessle to local home builder Scruton’s, Park Lane development in Cottingham and Westcote Fold development in South Cave
- Hosted over 52 AGMs on behalf of the management companies of blocks in our portfolio
- Carried out dozens of maintenance and refurbishment projects for the properties we manage, from replacing roofs and windows to felling trees, laying paths and much more
